The Thomas Jax has found is a Carman but Ada wouldn't be the first bride who 'enhanced' her father's occupation at marriage :-)

Ada's marriage has her giving her father as Thomas Wood Engineer deceased.

You need the birth certificate to confirm but....

But that baptism would mean she was either baptised and registered the same day or registered after baptism.

There are too many births for a Ada Wood to know which one is yours on the census......if you don't already your best bet would be to buy her marriage cert
