Can anyone find the parents and grandparents of doris davies who I think was born in wales about 1927 i think her mother may have been scottish and called margaret doris was married to a william Warren in Hereford regards sandra

The only way she will find anything out is to buy the marriage cert for the details on it,like her fathers name and occupation and Doris,s age at marriage.
Without that it is impossible unless she knows exactly where and when Doris was born to send for her birth cert.
Davies in Wales is a needle in a haystack.

Hi,I have now found some info on marilyns family for her ,and now found her mother Doris Davies siblings also her grand parents were Joseph and margaret stansfield and living in merthyr wales in the 1911 censor,i think i have found that they where joseph Stansfield born gronlow berwickshire,abt 1864 and margaret born springburn glasgow abt 1863 ,I also have a address in Edinborough called mills place morning side,I cannot find any trees to go any further ,is their anyone who could help me here please,I would like to know what margaret Stansfield maiden name was and her parents if possible for her please ,I hope i am on the right track here .regards sandra

Did you manage to find any family ties on the address marilyn gave me as Mills place morning side Edinborough connected the this family,I have just tried going on scottish people and signed up to there but it keeps saying password is wrong although I typed the one they gave me 3 times ,but I will try again after tea. regards sandra .

Just been in touch with marilyn (warren) and she said Joseph Stansfield born 1864 was her g/ grandad could anyone give me any info on who his parents were or his sibling please,she as been on the Stansfield coat of arms web page and see the name originated from England, she also saw that Gracie Fields was born Grace Stansfield too .we are helping Marilyn to start her own tree now ,so she should be upgrading herself in the near future.
