I have hit a brick wall and am wondering if anyone has any information on James parents or siblings. Anything you can tell me would be greatly appreciated Thank you. |

Hello Joan, have you info on anyone else connected to him to help the search? For example, how did you get to him? |

James married Sophia Chapman in 1806 in Buckinghamshire. Their son, William, born 1817, is my GGrandfather |

Do you think the James found is correct? |

Sorry, I am having a little trouble figuring out where I am supposed to write my reply. Anyway, thank you Patricia for the information. Apparently there was another christening in the same village of a James Evans on 31 May 1778 to a Robert and Mary Evans so need to find out which one or if either of these is correct. |
