Find Ancestors

I'm trying to find out what happened to haydns wife (Violet E.Audain) and 6 children after Haydn was killed 1917 in France. I believe she was living in Brentford middlesex but his parents lived at queensdale Rd. Holland Park.

Is this the last of their children born after he died?

I can't find 6 births for them. They have Violet born 1908, Peter above born 1918 and Cynthia born 1912.
Is this the correct family and do you know the names of the other children and where they were born?
EDIT: Just checked his military record and there are only 3 children listed ending with Peter in 1918.

I'm not 100% but think there was 6 Gertude 1906 constantine M.1908, Emma 1909, Cyril 1910, Cynthis P. 1913 and Peter who was born in the Jan after Haydn was killed in france. I think all the children were born in hammersmith.
Haydn was bornin 1877 and Violet was born1885.

They only have Violet in the 1911 and state that there has only been one birth and as I said previously on his military record there are only 3 children listed to the marriage being Ruth Violet, Cynthia Poppy and Peter Haydn Newton

This has to be Violet's death so it looks as though she married again although I can't locate the actual event but she may have married more than once more.

Thank you for all your help. Is there any other info on his military records of interest I haven't yet been able to afford to get them and we know so little about him and his line. It would be wonderful to find out more about my mothers uncle she never knew existed until I started on this adventure
It had also crossed my mind violet had remarried as I have been unable to find anything on, her or their children and my research is limited.
Does it state in his records were Haydn is buried or name on memorial?

Looks like a couple of sons and a daughter from Peter's marriage.

Address on enlisting: 27 Benbow Rd Hammersmith. Occupation, clerk.

Scar right buttock. Bald patch left side of head. Something illegible on right side of back.

Had old fracture left thigh.

Joined at Lichfield 8th July 1915 as Private.

Wow! Thank you so much this has already opened so many doors I wouldn't have thought of looking in the north. and it looks like I may even have some cousins out there if Peter had children.

Buy Peter's death cert for name and address of informant, who may well be a relative

Try the BT phone book.......all directories are the reference section of your nearest main Public Library

Marriage info of possible relative sent by PM......check your message box.

You could then try asking for an ER lookup on one of the threads which offer the facility.

There are at least two on Records Office board

There are several trees on Ancestry with your Haydn and his family on ,some even have photographs .

Perhaps you should take out a 2 week free subsciption to Ancestry and contact the tree owners
