Born Oct 31 1902 in Balerno, Midlothian, Scotland. Died 30th July 1961 Heswall Wirral.
Can anyone confirm that Dr Turner resided at a house named TREPASSEY, Heswall, c, 1930s. My Mother EMILY WYTHE was employed as a childrens nanny by him, and I am trying to trace her movements.

I can't answer your queation but Trepassey is now a Residential Home. You can find it on Google Maps.

Can't find an R L Turner at that address in the 1935 Medical Register. There is a Robert Lindsay Turner on the register, but he's living in Midlothian.

Edit in 1943 Medical Register Robert Lindsay Turner is living Moorlands, Thurstaston Rd Heswall.

Edit at same address (Moorlands) in 1951 & 1955 Medical Registers.

Managed to find him slightly earlier in Heswall:

In 1939 Robert Lindsay Turner was living 1, Heath Drive, Heswall, Cheshire.

So looks like he moved to Heswall sometime between 1935 and 1939 according to the registers..

Sorry I can't find him at Trepassey.
