Trying to find parents details of Harold Bell B1905, of Rotherham, Sourh Yorkshire.

Nothing definite showing on the 1911 census so I can really only suggest purchasing a copy of his birth certificate:

Births Mar 1905 (>99%)
Bell Harold Rotherham 9c 842

Researching:
Don't put off until tomorrow doing what you can do today. If you like doing it today you can do it again tomorrow. Be kind to your children for it is they who will decide which care home you end up in.

Did he die, so would not show in 1911, so you have to buy the birth certificate?

Many thanks for your replies, I thought I might have to purchase his birth certificate. He died about 1980.

If this is the death of your Harold it gives his birth year as 1902.

Birth Date: 7 Oct 1902
Death Registration Month/Year: 1981
Registration district: Rotherham
Inferred County: South Yorkshire
Volume: 3
Page: 0906


It also appears from the post above that the one born in 1905 died as a child

You need his marriage cert to find his father's name.

It's possible he wasn't actually born in Rotherham.

Using the free search facility on the 1911 census, the parents of Harold Stewart Bell seem to be Albert Edward Bell b. 1871 and Lillian b. 1872

Do you know who he married, as marriage certificate will give Father's name?
The only birth in Yorkshire is for Harold Stewart Bell, did he have Stewart as a middle name?
