For a friend I'm trying to find a Gloria Mitchell who married a Shaun Lewis in Hornsey Rise London in the 1950s.Gloria had an older sister Joyce and together with my friend Daphne they all lived in the NCH in Southport Lancs.They all attended Meolscop Sec Mod School and would have been born around 1936.Gloria danced with the National Ballet Company.The last known address was 32, Queens Avenue Finchley.I have tried Friends reunited and the Trees on Genes but no luck and my friend would dearly love to find Gloria.Thankyou Irene

Wasn't the school she attended on Friends Reunited?

You culd also try the National Ballet Company - google for details

Thankyou Ann,The school is no longer there and is not on Friends Reunited but I could take your advice and try the National Ballet Company.Best Regards Irene x

I cannot see a birth for a Gloria Mitchell around 1936 in Lancashire. Also I cannot see a marriage for Gloria Mitchell to Shaun Lewis anywhere.
Was she born elsewhere? Was Gloria her first name? Have you tried the National Ballet Company?

My friend thinks that Gloria may have been born in India. I wonder if my friend has got the names muddled if you have found that marriage.Thanks so much Irene x
