William died 1856 .so is only on the 1851 census.
Esther moved to Wales. Thomas and James moved to New Zealand.

Many thanks for the info.I found that Samuel had died between 1881 and 1891 census, and I can't find Gwendoline on the 1891 , so I went looking for the two boys, which I found living with Thomas Taylor, classed as nephews, 16, and 14 yrs.

Now one would think that this was Thomas, Spohia son, but upon looking this Thomas was born in Wales.

I wonder if Gwendoline also born Wales. maiden is Taylor also????????? as I can't find a marriage for Samuel and Gwendoline, perhaps they were married in Wales?????????? any ideas????????
