I am trying to trace the parents of William Maerden Mitchell. who was born Circa 1804 -1810 in or around the Devon area England.
William lived in Wythcombe Rawleigh., Devon with His wife Elizabeth Mitchell, Nee Avant B. c.irca.1808 .Wembury, Plymouth,Devon Eng
William was a Cooper by trade.
He later Lived with hiswife i Littleham, Exmouth, Devon England.
they has a s son named John Maerden Mitchell.1847. at Littleham Exmouth. Devon. who was Mariner.
I havn't been able to locate the birth place of William Maerden Mitchell. or the name of his birth father,and place of birth, The maiden name, birth place, of his spouse or where and when they were married.
Any help or information would be very muchh appreciated please.

What i would most like to find out is his acctual date and place of birth
anf the name of his father. and mother.
dates and places of his father and mothres births and date and place of there marriage please if this is possible.

You have that info, but nobody else does! And as the posters said: it is *for ref* -- so everyone else can see the info in the form we're used to.
Where have you looked for the info you're after? There's no point in other people looking in the same places.
Devon information tends to be held rather close to the chest by those in charge of it.
The Devon Family History Society doesn't share its records willingly; it sells them.

I am trying to trace the marriage of, Elizabeth Avant.Born 1805-7. Wembury, Plymouth Devon. To William Maerden Mitchell. born 1804-5 withycombe Rawleigh. Exmouth area of Devon. The marriage circa, 1835 to 1837. William and Elizabeth Mitchell are my great great great Grandparents. but i have been unble to trace this marriage, Can anyone out ther help please. The Middle name Maerden may have bern dropped at times. William and Elizabeth Had a son John Maerden Mitchell, Born 1848-9 at Littleham,Exmouth Devon, John Married a Elizabth Gurney, Of Dymock Gloucestershire. They are my great grandparents. Any idea where the c1804 DOB, for instance, comes from? It doesn't seem to coincide with the 1841 or 1851 censuses or the death record, if that's the correct one.
