I am trying to trace my grand mother (who I think died in Pershore in 1959 - awaiting the death certificate). She was born in Liverpol in 1895. She was adopted by Eliza Edge (nee Hirons). On the 1901 census she was living in Chester with the Edge family. She was still then Lucy Jones. |

If you have the right lady and she is Lucy Jones at death then this suggests she didnt marry. |

Shirley - yes and no luck so far. I have found a number of people with her Grand mother in the tree and Lucy's "brothers and sisters" but not her. |

Yes. in the 1911 census he has moved out (still in Chester) living with a wife and from memory three children. Lucie (as she is shown in 1911) was living with Eliza. |

Eliza (Hirons) had a daughter Amelia (b 1871 Malvern) who would have been c25 when Lucy was born. Also Amelia was living in Liverpool in 1895 when Lucy was born - she is on the 1891 census as living in Liverpool . Amelia went on to marry Edwin Rannard (still in Liverpool in 1901). |
