Find Ancestors

Married in Clare, South Australia in 1861, Mary Anne & William are my great great grandparents. I'm particularly seeking information about William as I don't know when he arrived in Australia or anything of his English background, other than he supposedly came from London.
Any help greatly appreciated.

Unfortunately, there are far too many William Bell's born 1835 +/- 2 years! Would the marriage cert give me details on his father that might help?

Australian marriage certificates usually have their ages, where born, occupations as well as parents names & occupations.

Mary Ann Hutton & William Bell
Thanks to those who have replied. The information I have already is that Mary Ann, daughter of John Hutton & Margaret Drew, was born in Scotland in 1828. Her Marriage certificate indicates that she was 22 in 1861 & the death certificate says she was 79 in 1909, so her real age is unclear. She arrived in South Australia in October, 1858. William Bell, son of John Bell, was born in either 1833 or 1835. His marriage certificate & death certificate show conflicting information too. According to his death certificate, he arrived in the commonwealth in 1855 and was born in London. This is where the trail is stone cold! As my search is for someone with such a common name, I'm not too hopeful of tracing him back any further. A year or 2 ago I received a message from a Genes reunited member called Janet Doughty. Her message suggested that there may be a connection, as her Mary Hutton married a William Bell. Unfortunately, Janet has not replied to my messages. If anyone else is able to help, that would be great!
