I am trying to solve a mystery of Barbara Johnson, born in Worksop, Notts, 1927. At least that is what we thought. Recently information has come my way to suggest that Barbara Johnson was born in Kindston-upon-Thames and adopted by a family called Thorlby-Coy. The Thorlby-Coy name is very rare in 1927 and there is only ONE family in the WORLD !!!
I have found 3 births for Barbara -
1st. Barbara Johnson (mother's name Thorlby-Coy)
2nd. Barbara Thorlby-Coy (mother's name Thorlby-Coy)
3rd. Barbara Johnson re-registerd in 1942 !

Can anyone help me with this please, it's very confusing.
