My great grandfather Abraham Harrison was born in Dudley Worcs. on 10/10/1839 his parents on his birth cert. were Thomas Harrison & Ann(Nancy) Littlewood. They both resided in Kates Hill Dudley.
I have traced a Thomas Harrison via cecsus returns as being born in Coventry (or as in 1871 census in Wyken) around 1800-1804. he married Ann( Nancy) Littlewood at St Martins Tipton on 16/6/1825 they had 6 children including Abraham.
I now have problems tracing Thomas back any further via the internet, I have managed to trace Littlewoods back to 18th century. I have not yet been to Parish records.
Suggestions to over come this brick wall would be appreciated.
