I am trying to find the date of the death of my grandfather Frank Turner. It seems he was born in Durham England 1890-1893. He married Mary Edith Hutchinson in 1917 in Cumberland. They had 4 children Elsie, James, Eric and William. They are all deceased except for Eric (my father).

You need his marriage cert to obtain his age and father's details, as Flick has said the name is too common to find without accurate details.

Sorry to everyone for not replying. I just received an email from A cynthia Turner to say I had messages and I had to learn how to access them. I do appreciate all of the work.
The message from Flick 9th Jan 2011 is correct for Frank as I know all of the names/ I have no idea about when Frank died or where or from what. The one posted by Cassidy looks promising and I will look into it.
I had no idea how these threads worked or that people would actually look things up for me. I do thank you all.
I do now have Frank and Mary Ediths marriage certificate and it says his name is Frank Taylor Turner Aged 27 Lance Corporal Boarder Regiment (coal miner) fahter Michael Turner labourer of coke ovens living at 2 queens street Whitehaven. Mary Edith Hutchinson age 23 Railway porter Living at 6 Addison Street W/haven father William Hutchinson railway plate layer and they were married on29th November 1917.
