Gt.Gt.Gt.Gran Susan Coe was married(?) to Charles Coe. Her DOB about 1816. in Essex) In 1838 her son's birth cert is made out in usual way. In 1839 Charles was sentance to transportation for stealing. In cencus 1851 she is shown as wife of John Phillips in Upminster, Job her son is living with them. I am trying to find out marriage dates for Charles toSusan, and John to Susan if they exist. To complicate matters on his wedding cert Job (the son) in 1859 says his father's name was George Coe! |

Many Thanks. Particularly about the marriage of Susan and Charles. The transportation I knew about. The point about William Coe sounds promising. |
