Trying to trace my GF mothers family.

As far as I know she was born in Greenock, Scotland around 1932. She was around the middle child of 11.

She married a Harry Mills in Greenock and had 5 girls.

Anyone know of them or is related? please get in contact.

You would need Scotlands People for her birth and marriage.Its a pay to view site units cost £6 for 30 ,but you would need to buy her birth cert cost £10 as for that year you cant view online

I have purchased 30 credit from Scotlandspeople, giving me the Year she married and the year in which she died.

As you pointed out, the DOB is still a challange,but hope someone is related and give info to help build the tree.

As mentioned you need to search the trees above. Its is very unlikely anyone related to this family will see this in the near future

Buy her marriage cert...........for the names of her parents........and her AGE at the time

try posting on scotfamtree.11.forumer.com. They deal with local records and have Moderators who visited Park Circus and will do a search for you. You can post on the site for free or you can pay £8 or £10 a year that covers the cost of look ups. They have been brilliant in helping me. Or if you live near Glasgow book a place at Park Circus £14 for a full day that gives you access to all the records. If the certificate is covered by data protection you can copy all the details. It's well worth it if you have lots of certificates to look at. I spent a fortune on SP and did 200 look ups at Park Circus got all the information and it cost me £14. Maybe something to think about. Just have everything you need written down before you go and start searching. It's very easy to find what you're looking for.

There is a 2002 death in Inverclyde Renfrew for a Margaret Mills maiden name Moore born 1932. Is this your relative?

That is my GF mother, she wasn't too sure when her mum was born.

I did a free search for Margaret Moore dob 1930-1932 Greenock on S. People and it came up with two hits, Cant view as i dont have any units. Would say best to get her marriage cert through the site .will cost £10 .then you can tie up her birth with the fathers name.
