There is a tree on Ancestry that has Edward and Hannah. There is a scan of the birth certificate for their son Emmerson Parker Thomas who was born 17/08/1883 at 1 Prince Consort Road, Hebburn Quay. Birth registered by mother.

Edward's occupation given as Iron Shipyard Labourer.

Edit: Ah, it was originally submitted by Osimandeus. Would have been useful if he'd given us that additional info at the beginning.

I know he was definately born1856 ok give or take 2 years. he married a Hannnah Elizabeth Sanderson and they had a son calle Emmerson Parker Thomas. He was born North East england may not be Jarrow but definately durham area. He could have been born Jul-Nov. thats all i know hope it helps many thx.
