Jayne I don't know if this will help and it doesn't really answer your question, but I belive from 1811 to 1815/16 there were several measles epidemics.

Where I live there were 15 children buried between March and July 1810 after suffering from smallpox so I would imagine that this would be a possible explanation for your children

During my family history research in the name of Hill. I found on parish records the buriels of three children in Nether Stowey all on the same day 25th January 1815
Joan 7, William 5 and Mary infant. I have been trying to find a way of discovering what happened to them but have been unsuccessful.
Has anyone found this in their research or does anyone know of a way I can find this out. thanks
