I am trying to find the family of a Harry Cook who died in 1925.His wife was a Mabel Brookes[brooks] and by my research they had 5 boys between 1913 & 1925.On his WW1 records they were down as marrying in St Pauls in Cheltenham in 1911,but I can find no record of it.Could they have lied & were living in sin?????Anyone got any ideas???? |

Shirley you are a star, thankyou so much...Harry died abt 1925 but his war record says wounded...gas....wonder if that contributed to his death???yet to find his death notice.all I know is hes buried in Alderton,Gloucs..The list I,ve got from family had him down as Harry, his mum had 17 children...his funeral card also says HARRY????? |

Henry's are often known as Harry . he married with his correct name but guess the records after that show his name as he was known ie Harry. I certainly wouldnt worry about the name difference. |
