Hello Jackie, when you say you're trying to find his family do you mean his parents, siblings and back over?

You say you have his funeral card - what sort of information does it give? e.g. church, date, age, etc

Do you know when and where he was born?

As Ingrid says earlier, Harry is a very common nickname for the names Henry and Harold. In his case it's Henry as his marriage was registered in his "proper" name.

Henry's are often known as Harry . he married with his correct name but guess the records after that show his name as he was known ie Harry. I certainly wouldnt worry about the name difference.

Jackie

Harry is a pet name for Henry.
The 1911 Census was taken on Sunday 2 April, 1911, so he may well have still been at home.

Cheers

I am trying to find the family of a Harry Cook who died in 1925.His wife was a Mabel Brookes[brooks] and by my research they had 5 boys between 1913 & 1925.On his WW1 records they were down as marrying in St Pauls in Cheltenham in 1911,but I can find no record of it.Could they have lied & were living in sin?????Anyone got any ideas????
