trying to find parents of richard parker born in deavon 1811 also trying to find his wifes maiden name mary ann born 1828 in somerset please

y es this is thembut i cant find his parents or her maiden name

You'll need to get Edwin's birth certificate from GRO and that will give his mother's maiden name.

You should then be able to trace their marriage and get a copy of the certificate to get their father's names.

You're not silly! - you don't know until someone tells you!

GRO is the General Register Office - http://www.gro.gov.uk/gro/content/certificates/

Dulverston is the registration district, 5C is the volume and 390 is the page number. Quarter ended June 1858.

That's everything you need. Certificates cost £9.25.
