Mike and Ann - I'm really really sorry for leading you on a wild goose chase! I thought I had given you the information you needed, realised I hadn't and replied but you had already started. Humblest apologies. |

Yes, that's the one. The address is Jubilee Court (same as his younger brother's baptism) and William is a Carter (same as on his his younger brother's baptism). Well done Glitter Baby - and thanks! |

oooh! Interesting! Could be a red herring though! No, the Henry I am looking for is Henry Hutchinson CLARK. Sorry, I realise my original post was misleading. If I have found the right Henry on the census, his father William was born in 1814 in Penge, Surrey. |

I know I could get the birth cert but.... Henry Hutchinson born 1854 in Greenwich. I found him and his family on various census - all in Greenwich. I have managed to find baptisms for all of his siblings - but I just can't find his! Father was William Clark, mother Mary Ann. Siblings are Sarah 1839, Maria 1841, Emma, 1843. Charles 1845, Edward 1848, Robert 1851, Alfred Harris 1857 and Arthur Thomas 1860. The problem is that he is my link with this family - in census he only appears as Henry H and I just can't quite work out if I have the right family! |
