Find Ancestors

I am trying to find any information on a George Arthur Gerrard b. c1884, he died in 1951 and is buried in my g.grandmothers grave, in Anfield Cemetery, Liverpool, England , but none of the surviving family no anything about him.

I wonder if this is him on 1911 census

Thanks for your advice, I dnt know if Gerrard was from Bury, but will give it a go, think he might be more connected to Liverpool, Do they have the information on a grave stone because it might be easier & cheaper to find grave than buy a d. certificate. My Great Grandmother was Rosalia Maud Strahan (Kirchner) her family were German.

..........so he wasn't a relative of Maria's, unless he changed his name from Gerhold to Gerrard, which is very possible as lots of Germans who settled in England did this because of the war?

.........maybe he changed his surname to Gerrard and his second name from Adolph to Arthur? (I certainly would have with a name like that).

.......birth is before the marriage, so maybe he was Maria's illegitimate son, but that's just pure speculation of course?
