Hi Kucinta, something about the address for the first Hill you found rang a bell and having checked that out I now think it is the one I was looking for.

Thank you Kucinta, I know very little of his background but recall from family chats that his parents were very particular about his name and never shortened it. He married an aunt of mine and only then shortened his name to Fred. You have given me something to work on, thank you, Jo

He might also be under plain Fred or Fredrick, do you know names of his parents?
