I would also check out the Midlands Historical Data site. It's unusual in that you can access certain electoral registers online - you have to pay but I understand it's pretty cheap. Obviously ER's apply 1919 onwards.

Hi, I found the family of Laura Goodhead nee Ward and now would like to find a few others. There appears to be a large number of Ward families
around B/ham, in particular the Aston area in the 1890's
I hope to visit the Witton Cemetery in May this year and find the Ward family grave. Thanks for your help.

Seeking contact with relatives of the children of Joseph Ward and Emily Bates, Married at St James the Less Aston in 1862.
Children are John, Joseph, Thomas, Claria, Emily, Mary, Laura married Thomas Goodhead, Edith, George married Annie Cole, Frank, Florence and Harry.
Joseph's father was William Ward.
