Hi, could someone please look up a date of death for me. I have no subscriptions to any sites. I am looking for the date of death and possible birth please of Albert Edward Cooper MP. All I can tell you is that he died in London in 1986 but am not sure where he was born, hence I can't give you an age at death but I believe he was no more than in his late eighties (if that) when he died. Apart from the dates if anyone could also supply me with the reference numbers so I can apply for the certificates.

Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you in anticipation

I dont think you need the date of death Its births that the 50year rule covers.

I have got death certs under 50 years with no problem just ordered with the GRO ref

Without the certificates we cannot be sure if one or any of these are your Albert...but thought I would show you them ... as he was MP for Ilford South....now I realise being MP for Ilford, might not have anything to do with him being born there.

Albert's father was an Albert Frederick Smith Cooper, not sure if that is any help, I don't have his mother's name. I know for sure in August 1978 he was given as being 67 years old. Not sure if this is any help in trying to determine where he was born.
