Find Ancestors

Has anyone knowledge of Elizabeth Jones.
b.1848 in Llanfairfechan and her brothers, John,b,1951, Richard,b.1853, Robert, b.1854 and William b.1858. All. the above members of my ancestors, apart from Eizabeth were born in Llanrhos(Eglwysrhos) caernarvonshire who i think maybe attended the Llanrhos Old School? They were all born circa.1848 to 1858 and i feel there is a possibility they attended the school as it was within walking distance of their home. Any information would be appreciated. Or if anyone can point me in the right direction to find out where the old school records may be kept.

Are you actually looking for their school records or for information about their adult lives and descendants, etc.?

You do realize that the chances of anyone who reads your message actually knowing anything about them are about nil! But if you clarify your request, other members might be able to help find info. Jones, though ............. ! ;)

If you're looking for their descendants, you've searched trees here at this site?

Have you google searched the school name? There's quite a bit online.

Thanks for the help Janey and brummiejan. I know of the sons decendants and who they married, but i do not know who Elizabeth married as of yet.

Yes, looking for a Jones in Wales has been tough but i have managed to get back to 1793 (this is my father's side of the family). I shall try Google thanks for the suggestion.

I did have a suggestion that the pupil registers may be in private hands when the school was renovated, i am also going to work on that.

There weren't that many Elizabeths born c1848 in Llanfairfechan.

Was she the daughter of Margret Jones (unmarried in 1861)?

In 1871 I don't see an Elizabeth with that birthplace and age who isn't accounted for in the previous censuses.
