I am really stuck, my Grandfather was Alfred Jones also known as Alfred Anthony, or Tony or even Anthony Alfred. His siblings were Harold (Harry) Horace and Daisy. I have no birth certificates and can not trace them on the records. Their mother (name unknown) had been previously married to a Johnson and I have met when younger my Uncle Jack Johnson.

Unfortunately my dad does not have much memory of his grandparents (his father was Alfred/Anthony/Tony who was a carpenter). Really want to get his part of the tree moving so any help would be appreciated.

Going to suggest starting from the beginning to try to get some certain info so perhaps start with your father's birth certificate. Although your grandfather was known by an assortment of names, maybe the one that went on his son's birth cert is the right one.

they are all Birmingham born and bred. My father only has his short certificate and at the moment I cant afford to purchase numerous certificates from the records office. Just hoping someone may have a link.

Any chance this is brother Harry's death record?
