Thanks for looking Maddie.Just out of interest how old was the Engine Driver and who was in that householr?

had a look i1n 1901 but cant find him in Merthyr Tydfil as an engineer, found an engine driver, milk vendor and coal miners

He is given as Thomas Davies Engineer.I presume he was still alive.A little bit more information about the type of Engineer would have been useful!

nowilliams living at 78 in 1901 but there were Davies at 99 and 98
was her father given as being alive on her marraige certificate

These names appear on the marriage certificate.Maud married John Thomas Williams at the Parish Church Merthyr Tydfil 28/12/1903,She was21 at the time.The witnesses were Annie and Polly Davies.Mauds address is given as 24 Clare Street Merthyr Tydfil.Father was Thomas Davies Engineer.Maud died 26/11/1906 her age is given as 24.She had double pneumonia and cardiac syncope..Her husbands uncle was present at the death.Maud was my Grandfathers first wife.He married my Grandmother in 1908.If possible I would like to find Maud on the 1891 Census.I have no idea what sort of an Engineer Thomaswas.Any ideas or help welcomed.
