Trying to find the first wife of John Jones. He married Anne Jones on 5th October 1863 and it shows him as a widower. He was born in St. Asaph in approximately 1838. His father was Thomas Jones |

He was born in St. Asaph but spent the rest of his life in West Derby. None of the above match. He was in the cotton trade not an inn keeper. He was also a sunday school teacher for many years at the Brow. The address when he married for the second time in 1863 was Back Parliament Street |

No not these either. He always lived in West Derby. Marriage certificate says he was a shoe maker but in later censuses he appears as a cotton merchant. With Anne he had lots of children including my grandmother Alice Jones. He died on 21.02.12 |
