I think you have your work cut out finding her death as there are so many choices. IF she can't be found in 1891 though and IF she stayed in Hereford town, these are the two deaths closest to her age -

Deaths Jun 1885
DAVIES Elizabeth 74 Hereford 6a 325

Deaths Dec 1886
DAVIES Elizabeth 76 Hereford 6a 330

Good luck Sheila :)

If this is her, we can rule out looking for a death for the reason of being missing from 1861 and 71 censuses

Have you found the husband in 1861 /1871?

Have you looked for a death for her?

It may help with searching to know that Beguildy was in Radnorshire

Hello to anyone out there who could please help me,

I am trying to find the whereabouts of my great -great-grandmother in 1861 and 1871. Her name was Elisabeth Davies Born in 1809 in Beguildy. Although I have looked may times I cannot find her in the census. I know that in 1851 she was in Trebrodier living with her husband James Davis and daughter Elisabeth Davies.

I would be delighted and very grateful if anyone could offer some help in this search because I seem to have hit a wall and unfortunately I have lost a lot of my previous work on this subject because my hard drive recently died taking all of my hard work with it which has only made this search harder.

Thank you for your time in reading this and for any time you spend helping me with this search,

Sheila
