I have found on IGI- William Walker born 1767 Walkeringham married Mary Greenwood of Laneham 8.3.1791. William Walker born c. 1770 Laneham married Mary Mastin 8.6.1802. I did have this in my notes and have just checked on IGI, someone on GR told me there was only one William Walker who married both Mary's. At least I know that Mary Mastin is mother of my John Walker born 1806 as Mary Greenwood died 20.4.1801. Regards, Julia.

	Hi Julia, No, there were no parents given for John on that tree on Ancestry. Now don't take trees on Ancestry as gospel, I have seen so many mistakes on them. Incidentally the baptism record for John here is a year different from the one that you have: WALKER, John Christening Gender: Male Christening Date: 12 Mar 1736 Recorded in: Walkeringham, Nottinghamshire, England Collection: BTs Father: Francis WALKER Mother: Elizabeth Source: FHL Film 504053 Dates: 1701 - 1754

	One of the trees has his parents as John Walker & Mary but no other info. Oh! Just noticed another tree has the 2 marriages of William. It has death of first wife Mary Greenwood as 20 April 1801, Laneham. This one doesn't have a birthdate for William though. As you say it couldn't be 1781 if he married 1791.

For a while I thought there were two William Walkers but another' Walker' researcher told me as confirmed by records that it is just the one William who married two Mary's. Maybe two William Walker after all. On Ancestry have the parents of William who married Mary Mastin been entered? Thank you for help, Julia.

	It's just that more than one tree on Ancestry has him born 1781 and married Mary Mastin in 1802. They had a son John born 1806, Laneham.

	Are you sure that your William married the 2 Mary's or were they 2 different Williams?

	A tree on Ancestry says that William Walker was born 1781, Walkingham and baptised 10 July 1781 Wollaton, Nottinghamshire. It says he died 1861 Wellow, Nottinghamshire, aged 80.

	BVRI has 7 children of Francis & Elizabeth born Walkeringham between 1717-1748 including a William but he was born 1748.

I feel there must be a connection but have not found the birth of my William Walker in that family Regards, Julia.
