	Possible London, England, Baptisms, Marriages and Burials, 1538-1812 about Richard Martin Name: Richard Martin Baptism Date: 29 Mar 1796 Parish: St Andrew Holborn County: London Borough: City of London Parent(s): Richard Martin, Sarah Martin Record Type: Christening Living at Laystall st going by the original image . I can only find these births at present will have a look at a few other sites. Sue Edie Do you know if Richard had any siblings

	Lorraine, Take a look at this site, you may find a baptism record for him: www.familysearch.org

	what do i do now? is there a way of finding out who his parents were as i cant go back any further in this branch ..

	Hi Lorraine There are no certs before 1837 but I have looked at the original entry for the mariage and there are no parents mentioned only the Witts. Sue

	Civil registration only began in England in 1837. Prior to then there were no BMD certificates. Parish records of that time very rarely contain any information about the marrying couples fathers or occupations ect.

	can some one please help... i am trying to find out who the parents of my gt gt gt grandfather...richard martin were,, he was b.1796 in the area of bethnal green... middlesex uk.. i know he married a eleanor latham in 1819 ..she was b.1798 b. southwark surrey .. her parents were john latham .1774 and eleanor collieu b.1796 ive searched all the sites i know of and cant find any reference of his birth... even if some one can just find me the ref so ican send off for th birth cert .. many thanks .. lorraine
