On Scotland's People there is a marriage for a Robert Brown to a Rachel Anderson in 1891 cannot give you any more info as I do not have any credits but this fit with their child James born 1892

A tree on Ancestry has him married to Rachel Anderson Needs verifying

Which could be this one. She is in Haddington in 1891. Looking basck to when she was with her family her mother was named Eleanor which is what Rachel named her first daughter so it seems a good match but you need to verify with the record on Scotland's people.

Can anybody help please - I am trying to find out who Robert Brown married. He was born in Haddington, East Lothian, Scotland in 1872 and both he and his father, James, 1843, were coach builders. Robert eventually moved to Bathgate where my hubands mother, Isabella 1900, lived as a child - her mother apparently dying when she was 12yrs. Robert's children were James, Eleanor, Jessie, Isabella and Rachel and one other that died at birth. I also can't find any info about any of these children.
