I sent away for my mother's army records WW11. It cost about £30 and there is a long waiting period for them to come through. I waited over a year. I applied to Army Personnel Centre MS Support Division, Parliamentary & Disclosures Section, Historicall Disclosures Section, Mail Point 555, Kentigern House, 65 Brown Street, Glasgow G2 8EX |

he's not listed on the CWWG site so doesn't seem to have died in action |

All Second war service records are closed until 2020. All is however not lost. Service records may be released to the serviceman (if he is still alive) and to his/her next of kin if he had died. |
