Hi, I have found my Great Grandfather's half Sister Eleanor A. Thompson living at 8 Boghall Whitby in the 1911 Census.

I am trying to find if she ever married, she was single at the age of 31 on the 1911 censu and when she died. I have tried looking on the free BDM etc but cannot find her.

Eleanor was born at Rusharp Whitby in 1880 to William Thompson and Ann Thompson (nee Wilton) (nee Hunt).

Any help

Hi Judith, I'm a bit confused!

You say she was single when she died so why do you think she may have married?

When and where did she die?

Hi, Sorry on the 1911 at the age of 31 she was a shop assistant in whitby. She was also single.

I have managed to track her to 1911 but then lost the trail there. Cannot find any marriage (if she ever married) and no death.
