I am looking for info, on my Grandparents, William John Tennant & Catherine Tennant nee Sheehan. Lived majority of life in Townsville, Queensland. My Mother is Joan Tennant. Have possible leads for Sheehans, but unsure. National Library of Australia has articles for Sheehans at Cairns and Rockhampton.

MASTER JACK SHEEHAN.
There passed away in Cairns early on Friday morning John Patrick
Sheehan, the son of Mr. and Mrs. J. Sheehan, of this city. Deceased was only 14 years of age and a native of Irvinebank. Widespread sympathy has been extended to the sorrowing parents in their sad loss. Mrs. E. Coleman (Gordonvale) is a sister of deceased.

OBITUARY
LATE MR. J. P. SHEEHAN.
The funeral of the late Mr. John Patrick Sheehan took place on the 7th instant, and was attended by his sorrowing relatives and friends. The cortege left the residence of the parents, Mr. and Mrs, J. Sheehan, No. 7 Lake-street, at 5 o'clock, for St. Monica's Church, where a short service took place. The procession then left for the Cairns Cemetery, Martyn street...
