Yes, I'm trying to go backwards but no-one knows anything about his childhood, not even his parents names.

if you buy this birth certificate, you will get both parents names

Are you trying to go backwards? If so do you know his mother and fathers first names?

Easy solution would be to buy his birth cert

Names of children are not relevant if you are looking for his parents

Trying to trace the family of George William Moore, born 14 February 1914 in Lincoln, his mother's maiden name in Harris, but with these two popular surnames, It's like looking for a needle in a haystack!
George married Kate Ellen "Nellie" Ashton in 1933 and had 6 children: Brian, Jean, John, Barry, Michael, and Vivien, before divorcing and remarrying Clarice Elizabeth Brock in Exeter in 1949, and had a further 7 children, Ken, Elizabeth, Cat, Ruth, Joan, Leslie and Sandra.
George died in 1983 in Bideford, his wife Clarice doesn't know of any siblings but any information would be appreciated.
