Hi Simon

Out of interest, is Margaret connected to James Brindley who was responsible for much of the canal system we have today?

If she is, there might be someone who has the info you are looking for. It might be worth Googling James and looking for some historians.

Hi Jillian

I have thought that before. She is the only Brindley in my tree but the name may be just Brindle.

I hope someone has some information

A lot of Brindleys listed in this site. Not yours but might be worth contact.

Jill

Thanks

I just read an article on a BBC site regarding James Brindley and found Gordon Brindley who lives less than a mile from me on the same road where a friend of mine lives.

Hi Flick

I have checked that site a number of times and have not found Margaret.

I was hoping someone had this record and could check for me.
