Hi Everyone,
Please can someone advise on the best way to research Arthur Jordan 1802 Barbados and was an artist. From what i have found out so far he was a very interesting man. He had three families but never married.
I would like to find out when he came to England and details of his life in Barbados.
Any help or advice would be grateful.

So-did you ever get a birth cert for one of the children to find out the mother's maiden name?

Hi Maureen,

Her surname is Templeman as she never married. She did go by the surname Jordan as i found out on the 1851 census, but there is no married record.
Its all a bit mysterious
