Sorry, Peter, I cannot find any of them in the 1861.

The 1841 census was taken on the 6th June; the 1861 was taken on 7th April, so Amelia should be on the 1861.

can some one tell me the day and month of the 1841 census
as amelia matilda agatha oxley embarked about the sir george forbes on the 27th april 1861

what happens if say thomas jr is the godfather and parents die did the godchild class that as adopted father ????

He says not married in 51 so unlikely a first marriage ?

I don't think the Oxleys and the Parrs were in the same household in the 1841. The Oxleys are at the bottom of the page and the address is given as Elizabeth Place; the Parrs are at the top of the page and their address is Westminster Road.

Southwark and Lambeth are close to each other in South London (in 1800s they were in the county of Surrey).

father is thomas jefferson randoph oxley he married in 1855 at st john baptist hoxton middlesex and came to nelson n.z.
T J R is on the 1841 census as 23 yrs with father listed u .s.a. born
i dont know when they came back to england
cant find any record of TJR 1st marriage if there was one ?
