alviegal can you get joseph wilkinson on the 1851 census where he would have been around 5?

Do you mean Lawrence married Nellie Wilkinson, or this marriage?

yes thats my great grand parents, nellie rodley and lawrence wilkinson.

only other info i have is of lawrence's sibs and parents, just wish i could get josephs(lawrence's farther) parents and so on, im just doing it all for for my 3 year old boy for when he gets older.

We have been using free bmd for births and marriages. Have you used the site, it also explains how to get the certificates that you need for proof?
