Find Ancestors

My GF Tom was born in Newbald (registered in Beverley) East Yorkshire in 1893 and died in a dreadful accident in 1935 in Eastrington East Yorkshire. He maried Agnes Maud Baker (from Market Weighton) in 1917. They had fie sons and one daughter. Although I have a copy of the report on his death from the Howdenshire Gazzette I do not have the date and the copy I have is quite old. I know that he served in the Great War and was injured twice and promoted once but have no details. I also know his father (also Tom) was born in 1861 probably also on Newbald (registered in Beverley). I would like to find details of hid war record and more information on his tragic death.
