I am looking to return 2 bibles to their rightful owners. I think they came into our family's possession through a possible John Brierley,- Annie Fletcher marriage in Rochdale in 1897.
Anyone have these people on their tree?.
Possibly Rochdale /Oldham Lancashire area.
Names -
Rachel daughter of Thomas Shepard b. 12-12-1756
also children of John Fletcher and Rachel Fletcher listed as
Mary Fletcher 25-9-1780
Sarah Fletcher 15-12-1787
Abraham Fletcher 25-7-1792
Samuel and Rachel 21-6-1792 ?
Jane Fletcher 19-5-1799
Edward ?-11-1801
... and also "Betsy Lord gave Elizabeth Binns to James Brierley
(until 21 yrs) 1st June 1849"
Ring any bells with anyone?

Hello Lindsay and welcome to the boards.
Unfortunately, it is highly unlikely that anyone connected to the above people will see your post on here.
The best thing to do would be to try the "search Trees" facility in the dark green bar above, to see if any other members have any of these people in their tree.
If you find a connection, you can then contact the tree owner/owners.

One week later and still no luck ......
