Teresa,
WW1 ended on 11th hour of the 11day of the 11th month 1918 (11 November 1918). WW2 started in 1939 and ended in 1945.
Which year did your grandparents marry?

Please keep to one thread.

Not finding obvious matches on 1901 Census for a marriage of "youngsters". Were they both over thirty when they married? As MarieCeleste has suggested only way forward is to order a copy of the marriage certificate to establish approximate ages and name of father. Clara Martin possibly not born in Warwickshire or Staffordshire.

Teresa, I think the marriage Perchino has found matches your original request when you said they'd married after WW1.

Why do you now think 1940s?

What you need to do is order a copy of that marriage certificate to get her age and father's details so you can accurately trace her family back over.
