My husbands knows virtually nothing about his grandparents Albert Parker/Emily Cresswell, who were born around the 1890.s I know Albert was a Londoner possibly born 1890's who worked with several family members at London transport. He was I beleive an amateur boxer, and married Emily Cresswell in London probably around 1915? .they had 3 sons with quite large gaps between them.( May be explained by war service ?) Albert ( Bert) was the oldest and he died quite young of asthma, but no dob or death. My f in l Stanley Frank was born in Fulham 1922 and then there was Kenneth b around 1930.I beleive Albert died around Stanleys 21 st birthday, so it would be around 1943? There is a bit of a wall of silence around Albert in particular , and as it is such a common name I have been unable to pick up the correct thread. If any memebers could give me some information I could work on I would be very grateful.BRP |

There is this possible in 1911, do you know if the E was Edward or Ernest, or something else? |

Oh brilliant patchem, I'm pretty sure that this must be him as I do know that he worked for London transport as an engineer. It looks as though the bridge family took in boarders. The area in spot on and the age agrees with the age at death you record earlier.Perhaps I will be able to track down the family on an earlier census now we know his name and dob What an excellent piece of research if I may say, how did you find him ? |

Emily could well be mistranscribed in 1911 - the image looks like Cresswell |
