Hello Ginny What can I say - amazing what you have found - it leaves me speechless !! Did you notice that Cecily birth shows reg. in Tientsin but birth country Ireland - same with Kathleen she is reg.in Malta but birth country Ireland.Do you think that because they were British subjects that their births had to be registered this way. I know for a fact (from their relative) that they were not born in Ireland. I'm 99% sure that the address you found for Mary Anne and the first 2 chidren on the 1901 Irish census is indeed them !! I don't know the maiden name of Mary Anne but they must have married in 1898 in Ireland. My Aunt (through marriage) is the adopted daughter of Elizabeth Owens. She tells me that all the children lived in Summerseat near to Bury Greater Manchester. After their marriages they all lived in the same street in Ramsbottom (apart from Thomas who I'm led to believe was killed in WW2) Eileen was the only child (apart from Elizabeth who adopted my Aunt) who went on to have any children. Margaret (my Aunt) seems to think that all the children have been buried in Ramsbottom Cemetery. It would appear that they were all strong Roman Catholics. Should you wish to look at my Jones family tree on Ancestry you would be more than welcome and I would be pleased to give details. I am truely amazed at your findings and can't thank you enough. Kind Regards Carol

Heres the details of the childrens births. The birth certificate would confirm the mothers maiden name and the fathers name.
Out of interest, do you know where the family ended up living and when did the parents die? Dont suppose you have Mary Annes maiden name?
