Hi John,

There are quite a few 'Ann Walters' born around 1820-23 in trees on this site, but they are from many different places.

If you have a look in the Search Trees box, you will find that one other person has an Ann Walters born in Somerset. It may be worthwhile contacting that person to see if they have any information for you.

Hi
Ann is my great great grandmother and I am trying to find out more about her.
According to Familysearch.org she was born in Laverton, Somerset, UK and baptised on 11 August 1822. Her parents were Robert and Ann Walters. It is possible that Robert was born in 1788 in Winterborne Stickland in Dorset. I have no information on her mother Ann.
She had two children I know of, William (b 1836) and Alfred (b 1839). She is recorded in the 1841 census as living in Bristol with a family called Bailey. Mrs Bailey was born in Ireland so it is possible that she found a position for Ann in Ireland as her son William enlisted in the Grenadier Guards in 1855 in Cork, Ireland.
If anyone knows of her or could point me in the right direction to further my researches I would be most grateful.
Thanks, John Walters
