Just been looking at the original view for 1891
Joseph Albert (Ablett) it has M for married,when a person was widowed the imunerator on those pages wrote Wid.

So whoever his wife was looks as though she was still alive at that point.

I wonder why he had no help with him,unless she
was only gone for the night.

Of course this is of no help at all!!!

Yes, I have been in contact with a couple of people who are also interested in Joseph Pedley Ablett .... we are all chasing the same info by the looks of it!
