Hi i`m trying to trace my gt uncle born 1908
I have found him on the 1911 census living in London but cann`t find a marrage or a death record for him.

He was born in 1908 in West Ham but on the census it says Walthamstow to Joseph Stacey and Louise Emily Stacey (nee Gibson)

If you have looked and haven't found a birth for a 'Leonard F' to match the death, I think you can safely assume that the death was his, with the forenames reversed

Remember that info on a death cert is only 'as known'......the person registering it may not have had access to the man's birth records
